We are a research institute which investigates the trade trend of various countries in the world.
We capture information on when, where, what moved in what volume on a global scale.
Trade statistics and various types of information obtained by different means such as interviews are analyzed from unique perspectives and by our original methods.
We organize an enormous volume of data, extract important ones, edit them into forms easy to understand for users, right distorted information and disseminate useful information.
It is our philosophy of activities that we offer new points of view at the various levels from national policy, academic activities, business, press report to individual life and make intellectual contributions.

Summary of our operation

The contents resulting from our research activities are disseminated in the forms of books, CD-ROMs, on-demand reports, media reports, academic papers, mail magazines and so on.

・CD-ROMs: Monthly Japan Trade Statistics series, etc.
・On-demand reports: Detailed import/ export statistics of various products are investigated on demand (used by trading companies and others).
・Media reports: We write articles on international political economy for various news media.
・Academic papers: The contents resulting from our research activities are reported in academic journals, at forums and in other forms.
